Papal Award for the founder and Prior of Mount Carmel Hermitage in Christoval, USA
Pope Benedict XVI has awarded Fr. Fabian M. Rosette, O. Carm., founder and Prior of Mount Carmel Hermitage in Christoval, TX, USA, the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice for distinguished service to the Church.
On 15 August 2010, during the Mass of Thanksgiving on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination, the Most Rev. Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI., bishop of San Angelo, conferred the Papal Award. The medal Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice is the highest award the Pope can bestow upon a Religious.
Fr. Fabian founded Mount Carmel Hermitage as a Diocesan Carmelite Hermitage in 1991, and in 2003 the community was aggregated into the Carmelite Order by former Prior General Fr. Joseph Chalmers, O. Carm. The Mount Carmel Hermitage website is www.carmelitehermits.org.

El Papa Benedicto XVI ha distinguido al P. Fabián M. Rosette, O. Carm., fundador y Prior del Mount Carmel Hermitage de Christoval, Texas, USA, con la Cruz Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, por su servicio a la Iglesia.
Durante la eucaristía de acción de gracias por el 30 aniversario de su Ordenación Sacerdotal, el día 15 de agosto de 2010, el obispo de San Ángel, Mons. Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI., le entregó la medalla Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, la más alta distinción papal que puede recibir un religioso.
El P. Fabián fundó en 1991 el Mount Carmel Hermitage como desierto carmelitano diocesano. La comunidad fue agregada a la Orden Carmelitana el año 2003 por el entonces Prior General, P. Joseph Chalmers, O. Carm.

Papa Benedetto XVI ha onorato P. Fabian M. Rosette, O.Carm, fondatore e Priore di Mount Carmel Hermitage in Christoval, Texas, USA, con la Croce Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice per il suo servizio alla Chiesa.
Durante l'eucaristia di ringraziamento in occasione del suo 30° anniversario di Ordinazione Sacerdotale, il 15 agosto 2010, il vescovo di San Angelo, Mons. Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI., ha consegnato la medaglia Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, l'onorificenza papale più alta che può ricevere un religioso.
